Favourite Hymns |
|
Sunday 12 October had the Congregation singing heartily. Willie Brown invited
favourite hymns from the congregation, in place of the sermon. We sang as many
as we could in the time. Here is the selection we sang, there are many more yet
to be sung:

First Line |

By Cool Siloam's shady rill |
| 179 |
See in yonder manger low |
| 253 |
O sacred head, sore wounded |
| 479 |
Who is on the Lord's side |
| 409 |
And can it be that I should gain |
| 681 |
In heavenly love abiding |
| 434 |
O Jesus, I have promised |
| 68 |
Thou art before me, Lord, thou art behind |
| 87 |
Be thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart |
| 42 |
Awake, my soul and with the sun |
| 279 |
Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son |
| 241 |
There is a green hill far away |
| 300 |
At the name of Jesus |
| 516 |
God the omnipotent! King who ordainest
(Sung to the pre-revolution Russian National Anthem) |
