Impact World Tour has three phases:

Preparation:

This preparation is already underway in Scotland. To prepare for a good harvest we must prepare individually and communally. Preparation is spiritual and organizational and involves preparation for discipling those that will come to Christ. We are in this phase today.

Proclamation:

Language, gender, age and values are important elements of our culture. To effectively reach Scottish people, we must minister cross-culturally. The IWT presents the Gospel in 21st century relevant ways, using elements of culture itself to deliver the message of Jesus.

Planting:

Discipleship is the one word that best describes phase three. We aim to disciple on three levels: one-on-one, in small groups and neighborhood fellowships.

The activities across all the Churches in Penicuik has already started, and will lead up to the outreach which will focus on different sections of our community.

Frank Kremer visits St. Mungo's - 13 March 2011

As the forthcoming Impact World Tour, which aims to re-connect people of all ages to the Church, heads for Penicuik in November, facilitator Frank Kremer visited St. Mungo's for the Sunday service on 13th March.

Frank explained what was in store when the season of outreach that God is leading us into comes to town, and what we as a congregation can do to make this successful.

Impact World Tour Scotland                            Our minister Geoff Berry with Frank Kremer
provides opportunity for local Christians to reach out and present the Gospel to family and friends as well as providing a dynamic presentation that draws in those we find so hard to reach.

Working hand in hand with the local church we all have the chance to come together and seek God for the welfare of our communities. Using international performing arts, sporting and musical groups in campaign style evangelism, Impact World Tour provides an effective and relevant means of expressing Christ’s message.

The IWT reaches out to different age groups through three presentations:-

Team Xtreme is a group of world class athletes, conditioning experts and power lifters with a concern for today's young generations. While showing their strength, Team Xtreme has confronted life's tough issues head on. From their experiences, they offer insights and motivate people of all ages to excel at everything and build themselves up in every way.

Island Breeze uses the beauty and expression of 'culture' itself, Polynesian dancers and musicians use their indigenous music, dance and song to share their faith. Adults and children alike are captivated. Island Breeze ministers to indigenous peoples (people originating in or native to a specific place), and ethnic groups within a nation. Island Breeze uses their unique cultural expressions to glorify God, restoring dignity and self-worth to many.

GX International uses 'blades, boards, bikes and beat'. GX International present the Gospel in a fast and fluid way unlike anything you've ever seen. Speaking right to the issues that face the young generations, they offer solid answers to the tough questions of life.

Impact World Tour is not an event – it’s part of a season of outreach God is leading us into. This is following along the lines of what God has been speaking and doing through the ‘Connecting Scotland' with Pray for Scotland\ initiative.

Outreaches and proclamation of the Gospel will take place in public venues, churches, prisons, high schools and retirement homes.
